Michael is the senior vice president of strategy and business development for KentuckyOne Health. KentuckyOne Health, the largest and most comprehensive health system in the Commonwealth, has more than 200 locations including, hospitals, physician groups, clinics, primary care centers, specialty institutes and home health agencies in Kentucky and southern Indiana.

KentuckyOne Health is dedicated to bringing wellness, healing and hope to all, including the underserved. The system is comprised of the former Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare and Saint Joseph Health System, along with the University of Louisville Hospital and James Graham Brown Cancer Center.

KentuckyOne Health is proud of and strengthened by its Catholic, Jewish and academic heritages. Michael joins KentuckyOne Health following 15 years at Maryland-based Bon Secours Health System, a $3.4 billion Catholic not-for-profit organization.

At Bon Secours, Michael served as the senior vice president for business development and managed care for the Bon Secours Health System. An Alumnus of the University of Louisville, Michael comes to the Commonwealth with more than 20 years of health system leadership to help continue the growth and success of KentuckyOne Health. Michael’s responsibilities include working to develop approaches for health systems that improve the health outcomes of communities.

This includes working with stakeholders to develop innovative healthcare partnerships, products and services that advance the mission of KentuckyOne Health. Michael achieved a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Louisville in 1991 and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota in 2006.
