Now in its third year, the Louisville Innovation Summit has emerged as one of the preeminent conferences at the forefront of aging care innovation. Everyone knows that Louisville is world-famous for bourbon and horses. But many do not know that Louisville is also the world-leader in Lifelong Wellness & Aging Care and has the nation’s largest concentration of aging care companies, with over 23,000 professionals producing over $50 billion in revenue.
Louisville is ideally situated to host the conversation on the future of aging care, and the Louisville Innovation Summit is the defining national event that convenes innovators and executives to share insights, expertise, and connections, with a common goal of redefining the aging experience for all of us. Over the course of the two-day summit, participants will interact with networks of national leaders in aging health and lifestyle, and experience Louisville’s outstanding business climate.
Providers and payors. Life Sciences and Bio Tech. Healthcare startups and an emerging tech community. Mentors and investors. This is the Louisville scene, where ideas and disciplines collide and new partnerships are forged every day; all in a city that is consistently praised for its cultural offerings (one of Zagat’s “America’s next Hot Food Cities,” and Travel + Leisure’s “Greenest” and “Friendliest” and “Most Cultured Cities in America” in 2015.)
Open new avenues to redefine the future of aging care.
By 2030, the over-65 population will nearly triple, dramatically impacting the health care system in the United States. It has never been more clear that more resources, more innovation, and new approaches to aging care are needed to serve this growing population and the challenge it represents.
500+ nationwide leaders, innovators, executives and service providers representing the aging care community.
The program includes distinguished keynote speakers, panel discussions with prominent guests, as well as an Innovation Competition and Innovation Spotlights from health tech startups from around the world. Forge new partnerships and explore future opportunities through hands-on experiences, inspired plenary sessions, action-oriented breakouts and cross-discipline mashup. The program is sure to inspire the next-generation of ingenuity for lifelong wellness and aging care.
The Innovation Competition seeks and shares breakthrough ideas designed to maintain independence and improve care for older adults. Innovators from across the world are encouraged to compete, with finalists presenting their ideas at the summit. A winner will be chosen from our panel of experts.
